Waste Screening is important in protecting transfer station property, users, personnel, transfer haul drivers, disposal site users, and the environment. This session defines and provides techniques to identify and screen for prohibited and problematic wastes. Take advantage of the opportunity to discuss different ways to manage and store prohibited or problematic wastes with other class participants. How to comply with recordkeeping requirements is also addressed.
