Presentation Description: This presentation will discuss the planning, design, construction and operations of the DSWA’s Milford transfer station and Route 5 transfer station. Mr. Sawyers will discuss the specific challenges presented by each project and the differences in designing each facility. Topics covered will include working with local communities, design aesthetics, facility layout and alternatives, basic functions, materials managed, traffic safety and automation.
