Are you designing a landfill? Have you evaluated the hydraulic properties of its liner system and the potential use of a geosynthetic clay liner?
Join Chris Athanassopoulos, P.E with Colloid Environmental Technologies Co. (CETCO) as he presents the basic methodologies for the design of containment facilities using geosynthetic clay liners (GCLs). Chris has been with CETCO for the past three years, working with design engineers, regulators, and contractors on various design, testing, and manufacturing aspects of geosynthetics. Focusing on engineering principles, this course is intended for design professionals including civil and geotechnical engineers and regulatory personnel. Presented in two 2-hour sessions, this course will also cover such hot topics as needle detection and removal as well as panel separation causes and prevention.
Earn up to 5 CEUs if they are Landfill or Bioreactor Certified, 4 CEUs if they are C&D certified. All others get 3 CEUs.
