  
Using the Internet, students will be able to obtain the skills and knowledge to work in a variety
of composting facilities. The topics include the Physical Science of Composting, Feedstock,
Quality and Classification, Facility Operations, Marketing/End Use and Regulations. The
course is enhanced with up-to-date photographs, interactive exercises, and online links.
Course Content:
Upon Completion of this Course, Participants Will:
Understand composting of organic materials;
Become exposed to the various opportunities for composting agricultural and
industrial wastes; and
Understand the full range of composting technologies.
This course will take approximately 25 hours to complete.
